NATION BRACES AS ERNEST BAI KOROMA RETURNS — VP JALLOH ANNOUNCES KEY VISITS TO FREETOWN AND MAKENI AMID DECENTRALISATION PUSH

Former President Ernest Bai Koroma is set to return to the national spotlight with planned visits to Freetown this weekend and Makeni the following week, Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has announced.

The disclosure was made in Makeni on Thursday during the government’s Regional Decentralisation Tour, a platform where the Vice President met with Paramount Chiefs, local council members, and community stakeholders to assess progress on devolution and local governance.

Dr. Jalloh told the gathering that the former President’s engagements will create room for broader dialogue with stakeholders across the political and traditional spectrum. According to him, the visits are expected to foster discussions around national cohesion, governance, and community development at a time when decentralisation remains central to government policy.
