“NO MORE TALKS. ONLY FORCE”: TRUMP THREATENS TO STRIKE IRAN “HARD” TONIGHT AS CEASEFIRE COLLAPSES

WASHINGTON — The fragile US-Iran ceasefire appears to be in tatters after Donald Trump threatened to attack Iran “hard” tonight, just hours after declaring the truce “over.”

Speaking from the NATO summit in Turkey, the former US President launched a blistering attack on Tehran’s leadership.

“I don’t want to deal with them anymore, they’re scum. They’re sick people, they’re led by sick people,” Trump said in remarks released in full. He added that negotiators on both sides could continue to talk, but “I think they’re wasting their time.”

His comments follow a sharp escalation. Late on Tuesday, the US said it had fired at more than 80 Iranian targets. In response, Iran said it was targeting US military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait.

The US strikes came days after attacks on three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has not directly claimed responsibility for those incidents, but Washington blamed Tehran-backed forces.

The renewed fighting marks a stunning reversal of last month’s diplomacy. Tehran and Washington signed a 14-page memorandum of understanding that extended the ceasefire and aimed to end the conflict “on all fronts.”

That deal now looks dead. With Trump back on the global stage and vowing retaliation, fears are rising of a wider confrontation across the Gulf.

As the NATO summit continues, allies are watching closely to see if tonight’s threat becomes action — and what it means for the future of US-Iran relations.
